Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw (Elizabeth Alice MacGraw) is a American animal rights advocate, writer also a model, actor and author. Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus '69 and The Getaway '72 are some of her most well-known films. In New York, she was born into an artistic family. Her first job was as a photo assistant then turned to acting and modeling. Her first two movies she received recognition as a winner of an award called the Golden Globe Award as Most promising young actress. The MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was one of the biggest hits that gained fame to the world, as well an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. With just three movies, she became the top female box office star in the entire world. In 1972, her foot-prints as well as autograph was engraved on the wall of Grauman's Chinese Theater. In addition, she was a part of The Getaway Convoy Players TV Miniseries The Winds of War, as well as other movies. Moving Pictures, her 1991 autobiography, was released. MacGraw is married three times.
