Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise was an American singer, actress, and writer, best known in the role of Ginger Grant from the TV series Gilligan's Island. Her Two's Company musical was the first production she acted in during her stage debut. Then, in 1956 she got her first big break in the stage on Broadway along with Li'l abner. In the year 1957, she released her debut music album named It's time to Tina. Louise started her Hollywood career in the year 1958 in which she portrayed Griselda Walden in God's Little Acre, a film that was dramatic. The film was a massive success, and Louise was awarded her the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. Louise enrolled in Actors Studio, New York at the time, and later became Lee Strasberg's teacher. The next notable role she played as Ginger Grant, which CBS signed her up for in 1964. Louise kept juggling her career between Broadway television and Hollywood, portraying more somber roles, as in contrast to her portrayal as a glamorous girl. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. As SG-1, and in the role of Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although during the past couple of years she's also earned a name for herself as a successful director in numerous well-known TV shows including Supernatural as well as The 100. Her birthplace was in Essex on the 28th of August on the 28th of August, 1965. The family moved to Toronto for her childhood. When she was chosen to play the role of Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997, and is a resident of Vancouver ever from then on.
